Nearly 50 Russian Strikes Hit Dnipropetrovsk Region: One Woman Killed, Five Wounded.
Wave of Attacks Across Dnipropetrovsk
According to UATV: On June 4, 2023, Russian forces launched nearly 50 separate attacks across four districts of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region—Nikopol, Synelnykove, Hrushevsky, and Dnipro—killing one person and injuring five others. The victims include a 73-year-old woman who died in the Synelnykove district during the shelling.
Among the wounded, a 26-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized in critical condition. Another man, aged 38, suffered moderate wounds. In the Kryvyi Rih area, a 60-year-old woman was also injured by the bombardment. These attacks highlight the ongoing threat to civilians in a region already scarred by months of conflict.
Escalating Violence Raises Alarm
The relentless shelling underscores the precarious security situation in Dnipropetrovsk, where Russian strikes continue to inflict heavy damage on residential areas and infrastructure. Local authorities and humanitarian groups are now mobilizing to provide emergency aid, assess destruction, and support the affected communities.
As violence escalates, the need for robust civilian protection measures grows more urgent. The repeated attacks on populated areas signal a deliberate pattern of aggression that demands a coordinated response from both national and international actors to ensure safety and deliver relief to those in harm's way.
