Three-Hour Russian Assault on Dnipro Injures Four, Including Three Children.
Dnipro Under Fire
According to UATV: A Russian combined attack involving ballistic missiles and drones struck the city of Dnipro for over three hours, starting around 2:30 a.m. The assault involved 25 missiles, 24 of which were ballistic. This relentless bombardment injured four people, three of whom were children. The youngest victim is less than a month old. Such attacks on urban centers have become a grim hallmark of the conflict, terrorizing civilian populations far from the front lines.
The strikes caused damage to 20 residential buildings. Local residents described the horror they witnessed during the attack:
"I woke up to an incredibly loud sound; it was ringing in my ears," said Yuriy.
"They carried the children out covered in blood. She managed to grab the baby, and my husband ran out earlier," recounted Nataliya.
This incident is a stark reminder of the ongoing tension in the region and the severe consequences of military actions that continue to impact innocent civilians. The events highlight the persistent threat to Ukraine's civilian population, which endures regular strikes on residential areas. Attacks employing missile weaponry raise profound concerns for human safety and regional stability. These incidents underscore the urgent need for an international response and support to protect civilians from the devastating effects of the war.
