The attack resulted in the destruction of:
- a residential house;
- an automobile;
- another house;
- outbuildings;
- a farm.
Fires ignited during the strike caused further damage to civilian infrastructure.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganzha, provided details on the incident.
Damage assessment and aid to the victims are currently underway.
Humanitarian Impact of the Conflict
This strike is part of the wider war between Russia and Ukraine, which escalated with a full-scale invasion in February 2022. The Dnipropetrovsk region in central Ukraine has been a frequent target for missile and drone attacks, highlighting the persistent threat to civilian areas far from the front lines. The destruction of civilian property and the wounding of non-combatants underscore the ongoing humanitarian cost of the conflict for ordinary citizens.
