Deadly Attack on Dnipropetrovsk on July 2
According to Novyny.live: On July 2, 2023, Russian forces launched a large-scale assault on the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing a 7-year-old girl and injuring multiple others. This operation ranks among the most intense strikes ever directed at Kyiv. The Russian military fired a record 28 ballistic missiles along with hybrid drones, targeting five districts within the Dnipropetrovsk area.
The shelling left four people wounded. Among the injured is an 11-year-old girl, who was hospitalized in moderate condition. Three adults also received medical care, two of whom are in serious condition. According to Oleksandr Ganzha,
“an entire family was affected.”
On the same day, Russian troops carried out over 900 attacks on Zaporizhzhia, signaling a sharp escalation of the conflict in the region. This wave of violence highlights the growing intensity of hostilities in eastern Ukraine, raising deep concern among local residents and international observers alike. The deaths and injuries of civilians, especially children, underscore the devastating toll of military operations on innocent lives.
