Russians broke through the defense in Sumy region: about 100 occupiers advanced deep.
According to ТСН: Russian soldiers who invaded the village of Hrabolivske in the Sumy region managed to break through the Ukrainian defense at one specific point.
This information was reported by the head of the communications department of the United Forces Group. According to him, about a hundred Russian soldiers participated in the operation.
Situation at the Front
He noted that the distance to the Russian border from the Ukrainian village is approximately one kilometer, which allows the occupiers to ensure uninterrupted logistics from the territory of the Russian Federation.
In addition, he emphasized that the Russian troops are not trying to disrupt the logistics of the Ukrainian forces.
“This is a push at one specific point directly on the contact line. There is no need to cut off our logistics here, as they are not trying to make movements to encircle, they are just pushing through,” explained Trehubov.
Consequences of the Assault
Russian troops, executing a sudden assault on the border village, captured about 50 local residents, who were then deported to Russia. Most of them are elderly people who refused evacuation.
The events in Hrabolivske highlight the tense situation on the Ukrainian front, where proximity to the border allows the enemy to quickly move forces and resources. The capture of civilians also indicates new challenges faced by the local population in wartime.
