This information was provided by the spokesperson for the operational-strategic group of troops 'Khortytsia', Viktor Trehubov, during a television broadcast.

According to the military, heavy fighting has been ongoing in Toretsk for a year.

'It's difficult there, of course, because these are urban battles, where the situation constantly changes, where one street can change hands multiple times a week and so on for months. Nevertheless, for now, the Russians cannot establish control over the city,' - Trehubov said.

The spokesperson noted that the enemy has intensified activity in the Pokrovsk direction, but unsuccessfully.

'After all the defeats they suffered during previous assaults, they cannot effectively resume their pressure, and so on,' - said Trehubov.

He reported that there are significantly fewer Russians physically in Pokrovsk and Myrnohрад. A significant number of them were simply eliminated during these assault attempts.
