Russian troops continue their offensive in the Kursk region and in the areas of Kupiansk, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove. This is evidenced by geolocation footage published in the report by analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

UAF Operations in Kurshchyna

Against the backdrop of progress made by the Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region, Russian troops have managed to make slight breakthroughs. Geolocation footage shows that Russian troops advanced in Makhnivka (to the east of Suja) and in Ruske Porichchya and Kosytsia (northeast of Suja). Russian milbloggers claimed that Russian troops surrounded some Ukrainian positions near Huyevoye and Kurylivka (south of Suja). However, other Russian milbloggers refuted these claims, and ISW analysts also found no confirmation of these reports. Russian troops continue to advance across the region, including near Suja, Nova Sorochyna, Stara Sorochyna, Mykolaivka, Viktorivka, and other settlements.

Luhansk Region

On the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops have also made advances. Geolocation footage indicates that Russian troops have moved slightly northwest of Orlyanka (to the east of Kupiansk). According to milbloggers and a source linked to Ukrainian military intelligence, Russian troops continue to advance northeast of Kupiansk in Dvorichna and near Zakhidne. It is reported that Russian troops are leveraging their manpower advantage in this direction and conducting assaults exclusively with infantry. Additionally, Russian forces are carrying out infantry crossings across the Oskol River to attack light inflatable craft, but this river is too deep for them to cross armored vehicles without special crossings. Russian troops are also continuing to advance near Petropavlivka and Kucherivka.

Donetsk Region

In Chasov Yar, Russian troops have also made advances. Geolocation footage shows that Russian troops have moved into the fields east of Stupochky (south of Chasov Yar). Russian milbloggers claimed that Ukrainian electronic warfare capabilities hindered Russian troops from conducting continuous drone reconnaissance over Chasov Yar, and shelling and close combat complicated the Russian forces' ability to distinguish enemy targets from their own, leading to numerous incidents.

Furthermore, Russian troops have advanced in the Toretsk direction. Geolocation footage indicates that Russian troops have advanced into the streets of Toretsk. According to milblogger reports, Russian troops have also advanced east of New York towards Sukhaya Balka (south of Toretsk) and along Berehova Street (west of Toretsk). Troops continue to advance near Toretsk and in other directions.

Russian troops have also advanced southwest of Pokrovsk. Geolocation footage shows that Russian troops advanced in Solonoye (southwest of Pokrovsk). It is also reported that Russian troops conducted an intensified mechanized assault near Yelizavetivka (northeast of Pokrovsk), during which Ukrainian forces destroyed one tank and four armored vehicles. Russian troops are also nearby other settlements around Pokrovsk.

Russian troops have also advanced northwest of Kurakhove. Geolocation footage indicates that Russian troops have moved into the fields northeast of Slovyanske (northwest of Kurakhove). According to milblogger reports, Russian troops repelled a Ukrainian counterattack near Andriivka (northwest of Kurakhove) and are now attacking in the direction of Andriivka. Russian troops continue to assault Kurakhove and occupy positions in other areas near Kurakhove.

The 1053rd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine continues.

In the last 24 hours, the enemy carried out 10 airstrikes, using 18 KABs, and also conducted about three thousand shellings of our troops' positions and settlements using 576 kamikaze drones.
