Eight-Year-Old Girl Killed in Russian Strike on Pavlohrad; One Wounded.
Russian Shelling of Pavlohrad on June 19
According to Novyny.live: On June 19, Russian forces attacked Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing an eight-year-old girl. A 49-year-old woman was also injured in the shelling and is reported to be in moderate condition. The attack set two private homes on fire and completely destroyed one residence.
The strikes extended beyond Pavlohrad to other parts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The enemy targeted three districts using artillery and drones, hitting Nikopol and several communities in the Nikopol area. In the Synelnykove district, the Dubovyky and Vasylkivka communities were affected.
Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Hanzha reported the shelling and confirmed the tragic toll. This incident follows a massive Russian strike on Trostianets in Sumy Oblast on June 17, which destroyed all gas stations there. Additionally, occupiers heavily attacked Zaporizhzhia Oblast with nearly 1,000 strikes across 50 settlements.
These attacks are part of an escalation of violence in eastern Ukraine that has persisted since the conflict began. They underscore the ongoing threat to civilians suffering from the consequences of military operations. Local authorities continue to do everything possible to ensure residents' safety, but the situation remains critical given the rising number of assaults on peaceful communities.
