Ruben Amorim on meeting with Ratcliffe: They offered a new contract.
Support and Club News
According to The Sun: Ruben Amorim confirmed that he is receiving support from Manchester United co-owner Jim Ratcliffe. The coach joked that he has already been offered a new contract.
The team is experiencing its worst start since 1992, having only four points after four matches, which has pushed them down to 14th place in the standings.

When asked about the content of their meeting, Amorim joked:
“A new contract is already on the table!”
He later added:
“It was a regular meeting to show support, explaining that this is a long-term project he has spoken about many times.”
The coach also noted that he discussed the situation with Ratcliffe, CEO Omar Berrada, and Director of Football Jason Wilcox.
“I analyze all the data about the team, so it was a regular meeting,” Amorim said.
“This is a football club that may be under more pressure than any other in the world, and we strive for victory.”
Before the match against Chelsea on Saturday, Amorim reported that Diogo Dalot would still be unable to play, but Mason Mount and Matheus Cunha, who missed the derby, have returned to training.
Amorim confirmed:
“Dalot is out, Mount is in the squad, and Cunha is also in the squad. Lisandro Martinez is still injured.”
Dalot's absence may give one of Noussair Mazraoui or Patrick Dorgu a chance, having already played in the derby.
Chelsea Situation
While some of those mentioned may get a chance, the return of Mount and Cunha will likely lead to fewer opportunities for other players, including newcomer Benjamin Sesko, who struggled to make an impact on his Premier League debut.
Chelsea has also lost their main striker Liam Delap due to a hamstring injury, and he is likely to be out until December. Cole Palmer returned to the Premier League last weekend in a match against Brentford but played the entire match for his team against Bayer on Monday.
The Manchester United team is in a difficult situation; however, support from club leaders seems to provide the necessary boost for improving results. Chelsea, besides staffing issues, is also trying to find their game, making the upcoming matches for both clubs very important for their future development in the season.
