Sainsbury’s sharply lowered prices on Cadbury chocolate: where to buy for 97 pence.
Discounts on Cadbury chocolate at Sainsbury’s
According to The Sun: The supermarket Sainsbury’s has lowered prices on various types of Cadbury chocolates to less than £1, which has already excited shoppers. The promotion is valid from this week and will last until Sunday, September 21.
GettyCustomers can purchase their favorite treats like Cadbury Twirl bites for just 97p, down from £1.95. Also available for the same price are 100-gram packs of Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons, Crunchie rocks, and Bournville Dark Chocolate Giant Buttons.
Among other promotional items are Golden Caramel Chocolate Buttons and Cadbury White Buttons Chocolate, which are also offered for less than £1.
To take advantage of the promotion, customers need to have a Nectar card, which can be obtained for free. This program allows users to accumulate points during purchases, which can later be exchanged for discounts.
Customer reviews
Many shoppers have praised the discounts. One noted:
“Great..got some from last time they had this offer.”Another jokingly added:
“Wish I never saw this, got a few packs today and the crunchy clusters my god! Finished 2 packs all by myself!”
Another buyer commented:
“Amazing offer, handy for stocking up.”However, not everyone was thrilled; one customer remarked:
“I remember back in the day this was their regular price.”
These items can be purchased both online and in stores, but hurry, as the promotion ends on Sunday.
Other chocolate promotional offers
Supermarkets regularly hold promotions that allow shoppers to buy their favorite products at reduced prices. For example, earlier this month Tesco lowered the price on Quality Street packs to £2.95, allowing customers to stock up for Christmas.
Sainsbury’s also offers a 550-gram pack for £7, while for regular customers, the price with a Nectar card is only £4.50.
Additionally, B&M has lowered the price on Cadbury mini-eggs chocolate bar to just 10p. This chocolate is likely imported from Australia, but a similar bar is sold in the UK in a different packaging for Easter.
The bar weighs 170g, which is 60g more than the Ukrainian version.
These supermarket promotions are noted not only for their popularity among shoppers but also actively used to attract new customers. Before holidays, such discounts become a great opportunity to replenish culinary supplies. Sainsbury’s once again proves that attractive offers can be beneficial for both shoppers and the chain itself, as discounts through cards become an important loyalty tool.
