Samsung unveils the budget Galaxy M17: what the new device can offer for $141.
According to Korrespondent.net: Samsung has officially announced the new budget smartphone Galaxy M17, reports Gizmochina.
Technical Specifications
The new device is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of FHD+, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a brightness of up to 1100 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and at the top is a 13-MP front camera in a teardrop shape.
The main camera of the smartphone consists of a 50-MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 5-MP ultra-wide module, and a 2-MP macro camera.
Performance and Battery Life
The Galaxy M17 runs on the Exynos 1330 processor and has up to 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2 TB via microSD card. It is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The smartphone runs on Android 15 with the One UI 7 interface.
Additional Features
Among other features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dust and water resistance rated IP54, a hybrid slot for two SIM cards, and a body thickness of only 7.5 mm.
Price and Colors
The Galaxy M17 will be available in Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black colors. Prices start at approximately $141 for the 4 GB + 128 GB version, while the 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 128 GB variants are priced from $158 and $175 respectively.
