Sandu: Moldova can become a springboard for an invasion of Odesa.
According to inkorr.com: The President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, expressed concern about the possible consequences of a victory for pro-Russian forces in the elections. According to her, in such a case, Moldova risks becoming a base for a Russian invasion of the Odesa region. Sandu noted that Russia spends significant amounts on bribing voters, which may lead to instability and violence in the country.
Today, I declare to you with all seriousness that our sovereignty, independence, integrity, and European future are under threat
She urged the citizens of Moldova not to succumb to the influence of foreign forces and to actively defend their freedom and independence. Sandu also warned of the dangerous consequences that may arise if Russia gains control over Moldova. This could lead to destabilization of the entire region and threaten Europe.
All Moldovans will suffer. Europe will end at the border with Moldova. European funds will stop at the Prut. Freedom of movement may cease. Our land may become a springboard for infiltration into the Odesa region. The Transnistrian region will be destabilized
Moreover, it became known that law enforcement in Moldova conducted more than 250 searches in cases related to the preparation for possible mass riots and the destabilization of the situation in the country. Now, it is only possible to purchase SIM cards for mobile phones by presenting a passport.
Maia Sandu again emphasized serious concerns about the potential threat that Russian control may bring, urging citizens to fight for their country's freedom and independence.
In the context of growing Russian influence in Eastern Europe, Moldova finds itself in a difficult situation. The importance of preserving the country's independence and sovereignty becomes especially relevant, and society faces challenges that require unity and decisive action. The events currently taking place may have far-reaching consequences not only for Moldova but also for the stability of the entire region.
