The head of the SBU declared an examination of the activities of collaborator politicians

Lieutenant General Vasyl Maliuk, head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), announced that the Service will decisively engage in the activities of collaborator politicians. This was announced by the commander of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Dmytro Yarosh, on his Facebook page. The provocation for this statement was a pro-Russian speech by Yurii Boyko, the former minister and deputy prime minister of Viktor Yanukovych's government, and head of the deputy group 'Platform for Life and Peace'.

Yarosh reported that he discussed the issue of intensifying the activities of collaborator politicians with Maliuk and received a guarantee from him that the SBU would act decisively. 'These individuals will receive the punishment they deserve. Vasyl Maliuk will not forget his promises! I trust him,' said Yarosh.

It should be noted that Yurii Boyko, in his video, spoke about radicals who, according to him, destroy monuments, change city names, and restrict languages and religions. He usually associates these actions specifically with radicals, but does not mention Russia.

The day before, Andrii Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), reacted to Boyko's statement. He termed such claims as 'strange' for 2024 and emphasized that the only ones committing violence against Ukrainians are Russia.

We remind you that Yurii Boyko, one of the leaders of the banned pro-Russian party OPZZH, still holds the title of Hero of Ukraine, which was bestowed upon him in 2004 by Leonid Kuchma for his contribution to the development of the fuel and energy complex.
