Da Vinci's Sister Signs Contract with Battalion Named After Her Brother.
The younger sister of Oleksandr, also known as Da Vinci, Oleksandra, joined the 1st separate assault battalion, which was once commanded by her brother. This was reported by journalist Violeta Kirtoka.
“I am grateful to the chief of staff Oleh Lototsky and Oleksandr Savchenko, who helped Sasha without unnecessary words. They did everything to ensure that she joined her brother's unit. These people were always by Da Vinci's side. And now Kotsyubaylo is back in the unit,” the post reads.
Recall that on March 7, 2023, Dmytro Kotsyubaylo, known as Da Vinci, died in battles for Ukraine. He was a legendary warrior and was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.
It is also worth noting that photojournalists Vladyslav and Kostiantyn Liberov took photographs of the last moments of Dmytro Kotsyubaylo's life, the commander of the “Da Vinci's Wolves” battalion. This was told by photojournalist Yefrem Lukatsky in an interview with “Glavkom”.
According to him, the Liberovs were near Da Vinci when he died from fragments of a mortar shell.
