Picnic season is in full swing: how much cheese and sausage cost in June.

In June, supermarkets decided to raise prices on sausage and hard cheese, as reported by the Minfin portal. This decision is explained by the increase in demand for these products due to favorable weather for picnics and outdoor recreation.

As the summer season approaches, Ukrainians are actively purchasing hard cheese and sausage for sandwiches during outdoor activities. This leads to an increase in demand for these products.

Price analysis in supermarkets showed that hard cheese is one of the most expensive dairy products. For example, the Dutch cheese Zveni Hora costs between 452 and 587.60 UAH per kilogram, with an average price of 519.80 UAH per kg.

Prices for sausage

Sausage prices have also risen. For example, smoked sausage Alan Braunschweiger costs 812 UAH per kilogram in Megamarket. However, there are more affordable alternatives, such as smoked sausage Globino boiled-smoked salami, which costs 282 UAH per kg in Auchan or 148.29 UAH for a 460-gram package in Metro.

The increase in prices for sausage and hard cheese in June is associated with the rising demand for these products due to picnics and outdoor recreation in the summer. They have become staples on the shopping list of vacationers outside the city.
