Passenger removed from flight in Costa Rica for rudeness towards flight attendant: video of the incident.
Scandal in aviation
According to The Sun: One of the passengers on an American flight was removed from the plane after demanding that the flight attendant 'shut up'.
The incident occurred during the safety briefing on the flight from Costa Rica to Dallas when the passenger and the flight attendant exchanged barbs.
InstagramIn the video that surfaced on social media, the woman can be seen telling the flight attendant at the beginning of the flight that she 'should shut up'.
The flight attendant quickly responded: 'Do you want to leave the plane?'
'I don't feel comfortable when you don't follow instructions,' - she added.
Later in the video, the flight attendant is seen calling her colleagues to turn off the announcement system.
The passenger tried to ignore the situation, saying: 'I can't hear you' throughout their exchange.
'You are not on my list of people who can't hear,' - the flight attendant said. - 'That's why I will ask the pilot to remove you, because you are not following the rules. You know what you did, right?'
The footage shows the passenger getting a warning... for not turning off her phone.
In the end, the video ends when the woman agrees to follow the instructions, but only briefly.
She soon started claiming that the flight attendant was harassing her.

Ultimately, the woman was removed from the plane, leaving the neighboring passenger in a 'victorious' position.
Jay Crenshaw, who was seated next to the woman during the incident, remarked: 'the empty middle seat is a win for me'.
He expressed sympathy for the flight attendant who 'accidentally found herself in this situation', but also felt for the loud passenger.
'She had a bad morning and was obviously upset or worried about something she was discussing on the phone,' - he said in an interview with the New York Post.
Crenshaw also noted: 'I do not justify her behavior. We all have bad days and sometimes say unpleasant things. But we were not filmed on camera. I hope people will show her some tolerance.'
This incident highlights the importance of following rules and regulations in enclosed spaces, especially on board an aircraft. Unplanned situations can quickly spiral out of control if passengers do not respect the crew's requirements. All participants, including flight attendants, must remain calm and adhere to etiquette in stressful situations.
