McIlroy was playing alongside Tommy Fleetwood in the morning pairings on Saturday. When he was about to take his shot, one of the fans shouted from the crowd.

Outraged, McIlroy turned around and responded with a vulgarity. However, soon after, he made an impressive shot to the green, landing just a few feet from the hole.

Fleetwood also nailed the hole, allowing Team Europe to score another point. They defeated the pair of Harry English and Colin Morikawa 3&2.
