According to UATV: Ukraine’s acting foreign minister, Andriy Sybiha, has dismissed Iran’s threats following a strike on a tanker in the Caspian Sea, calling them unfounded. He stated that the incident underscores Iran’s role as an accomplice in Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine, which began in 2022.

Iran had warned Ukraine after a vessel operating in the Caspian was hit. Sybiha asserted that
“Iran’s threats are unjustified and baseless”and that
“the regime in Tehran is a direct accomplice of Russian aggression against Ukraine.”His remarks highlight Kyiv’s alarm over Tehran’s active involvement in the regional conflict.
