The Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorsky stated that U.S. President Donald Trump is beginning to understand the true essence of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. He sees that President Trump realizes who he is dealing with.
The minister complains that the Russian side rejected Ukraine's proposal for a complete ceasefire, and the temporary ceasefire is being violated. Sikorsky believes that Trump will understand the advantages of European allies in negotiations with Russia.
Sikorsky also considers the American diplomatic concept, which suggests the absence of Europe in peace talks regarding Ukraine, to be erroneous, as European representatives should help the White House better understand the Russian way of thinking.
Sikorsky calls for maintaining Europe's readiness to confront Putin.
