Poland proposes to change the mechanism of social benefits for Ukrainian refugees
Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, during a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, proposed changing the mechanism of social benefits for Ukrainian refugees.
According to TVP Info, the Polish foreign minister proposed to redirect the social benefits that Ukrainian refugees currently receive in Germany (up to 1200 euros per month) directly to support Ukraine.
"It's not good that there is a financial incentive to be in Germany instead of men fighting on the front line and women rebuilding the tax base," Sikorski emphasized.
Commenting on the recent meeting of the "Quartet" in Berlin with the participation of the USA, Germany, the UK, and France, the minister noted that Poland's absence from these negotiations is normal practice, as the country is not among the nuclear states and is not a member of the G7 or G20.
Separately, Sikorski touched upon the issue of closing the Russian consulate in Poznan, warning of the possibility of expelling the Russian ambassador from Poland in case of continued subversive activities by Russia.
Let us remind that Poland will ask Ukraine to show the secret annexes to the victory plan.
