According to UATV: Since the start of July 2023, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 96 energy nodes in temporarily occupied territories, including Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kherson regions. The operation, dubbed 'Crimea Power Switch Off,' is ongoing with no set end date. This campaign targets critical infrastructure to disrupt the adversary's military capabilities.

In the past 24 hours alone, 13 energy nodes in Crimea have been taken offline. Additionally, drone units struck Russia’s shadow fleet, damaging 13 vessels, including:

  • 8 dry cargo ships
  • 1 tanker
  • 1 gas carrier
  • 1 tugboat
  • 2 floating cranes
“The operation is open-ended,” reported “Madyar” — Robert “Madyar” Brovdy.

These actions reflect the Ukrainian forces’ strategy to counter aggression in occupied territories and are aimed at reducing the enemy’s military potential.

Heightened Tensions on the Frontline

The frontline situation remains tense, and operations like these highlight the intensification of Ukrainian military responses to aggression. Strikes on energy nodes and Russian fleet assets can significantly impact the logistics and combat effectiveness of occupation forces. These measures also underscore Ukraine’s determination to maintain strategic initiative in the region, a crucial factor in the ongoing conflict.
