Ukraine’s Defense Forces Eliminate 1,310 Russian Troops in One Day: New Equipment Losses for Moscow.
Military Hardware and Personnel Destroyed
According to UATV: On July 9, 2023, Ukraine’s defense forces reported the elimination of 1,310 Russian soldiers and one enemy aircraft within a single day. The following equipment was destroyed during combat operations:
- 363 vehicles,
- 59 artillery systems,
- four multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS),
- one air defense system.
Since the full-scale war began on February 24, 2022, Russia’s total military losses have reached 1,414,820 personnel. Additional significant losses include:
- 12,107 tanks,
- 24,906 armored combat vehicles,
- 45,628 artillery systems,
- 1,922 MLRS units,
- 1,479 air defense systems.
Air and Naval Force Losses
Furthermore, Russia’s air force has suffered the following cumulative losses:
- 437 aircraft,
- 353 helicopters,
- 398,763 unmanned aerial vehicles.
Naval losses have also been recorded:
- 33 ships and boats,
- two submarines.
Overall, additional totals include:
- 117,910 vehicles,
- 4,402 pieces of special equipment,
- 4,887 cruise missiles.
These figures highlight the ongoing intense fighting in eastern Ukraine, where Ukrainian forces continue to resist Russian aggression. The high casualty and equipment tolls reflect the substantial efforts of Ukraine’s military in defending its territory.
