July 9 Attack

According to UATV: On July 9, Russian forces struck Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 94 attack drones. The unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were launched from multiple locations, including Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Gvardeyskoye, and Donetsk, according to reports.

By 8:30 AM, Ukraine’s Air Force Command confirmed that 72 enemy drones had been destroyed. During the assault, two ballistic missiles and 19 attack drones hit 13 different sites. Debris also fell at four locations.

Aftermath of the Attack

The Air Force warned that the attack was still ongoing, with several hostile drones remaining in the airspace. They urged everyone to follow safety protocols. Notably, on July 8, Russia struck Odesa, killing two people and wounding two others.

This attack marks another escalation in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has now lasted over a year. The use of ballistic missiles and drones highlights the evolving military strategies both sides are employing to gain air superiority. Amid constant threats, Ukrainian forces continue to take measures to protect civilians and infrastructure, underscoring the critical need for ongoing support from international partners.
