Su-35 Downed and Record Russian Losses: 1,260 Occupiers Killed in a Single Day.
Eastern Ukraine Combat Update
According to UATV: Ukrainian forces continue to mount a strong defense against Russian aggression in the eastern part of the country. A Russian Su-35 fighter jet was recently shot down, marking a significant frontline event. As of today, 57 combat engagements have been recorded, highlighting the intensity of ongoing operations. In June, Ukrainian drones struck over 200,000 confirmed targets, underscoring their critical role in modern warfare.
Major General Oleksandr Syrskyi stated, 'Unmanned systems have become one of the key elements of modern warfare.'
Ukrainian Military Operations
Throughout June, Ukrainian forces conducted more than 400,000 combat sorties. This reflects the high operational tempo of the air force, which continues to strike Russian positions. As a result, approximately 28,000 Russian troops were neutralized by Ukrainian forces. Over the past day, Ukrainian troops destroyed:
- 1,260 Russian occupiers;
- three tanks;
- four armored combat vehicles;
- over 60 artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers;
- five unmanned ground vehicles;
- nearly 470 units of automotive and special equipment.
Vladyslav Seleznev emphasized, 'The Ukrainian army has achieved certain successes.'
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has suffered over 1,413,000 casualties, indicating substantial enemy losses. These figures confirm the effectiveness of Ukrainian forces in defending their territory and independence.
The situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense, but Ukrainian troops are demonstrating growing activity and the ability to effectively counter aggression. The high number of combat sorties and significant enemy losses show that Ukrainian forces can adapt to the conditions of modern warfare, particularly through the use of drones. This highlights the importance of technology in contemporary conflicts and the role it plays in Ukraine's defense strategy.
