Ukraine’s Forces Eliminate 1,520 Russian Troops in a Day; Moscow Suffers Record Drone Losses.

According to UATV: On July 19, 2023, Ukrainian defense forces killed 1,520 Russian invaders. These enemy losses also include:
- 5 tanks;
- around 100 artillery systems;
- 1,858 unmanned aerial vehicles.
This data points to ongoing heavy combat along the front lines and a rise in casualties among Russian troops.
Total Combat Losses of Russian Forces Since the Start of the Aggression
Since Russia launched its full-scale war against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, overall Russian combat losses have reached approximately 1,428,930 personnel. The tally also includes:
- 12,156 tanks;
- 24,963 armored fighting vehicles;
- 46,261 artillery systems;
- 1,950 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS);
- 1,505 air defense systems.
Additionally, Russian aviation has lost:
- 438 aircraft;
- 354 helicopters;
Losses of ground robotic complexes amount to 1,956 units, while tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles number 416,656 units. Russian forces have also lost:
- 4,915 cruise missiles;
- 34 ships and boats;
- 2 submarines;
- 122,289 vehicles and fuel tankers;
- 4,430 units of special equipment.
These figures highlight the scale of the conflict and its toll on Russia’s military resources.
These numbers reflect serious challenges for the Russian armed forces amid a war that has now lasted over a year. The mounting casualty rate could undermine Moscow’s ability to sustain frontline operations, potentially forcing tactical or strategic adjustments by the Kremlin.
