The operational-strategic group of troops 'Khortytsia' reported that the Defense Forces have repelled the Russians from Kupyansk and have the situation under control at the approaches.

According to the spokesperson of OCU 'Khortytsia' Nazar Voloshyn, the occupiers are trying to infiltrate in large assault groups and then launch an offensive.

'This is without the involvement of a large amount of armored vehicles. In this direction, the situation has stabilized, and the enemy has retreated from the city of Kupyansk. All equipment and enemy forces attempting to cross to the other side are being destroyed using our firepower and FPV drones. The situation is under the control of our Defense Forces,' the spokesperson said during the telethon.

According to Voloshyn, even if some groups penetrate in numbers ranging from 8 to 10 people, no more than 2-3 people reach the shore.

'Thus, the enemy is also destroyed on the spot,' he emphasized.
