Ukrainian forces set new records by destroying 1,550 Russian troops in a single day, with logistics strikes intensifying.
Russian troops and equipment eliminated
According to UATV: On June 4, Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov announced that Ukraine's defense forces had killed or severely wounded 31,530 Russian military personnel. In a single 24-hour period, they also eliminated 1,550 occupiers and a substantial amount of military hardware.
According to the minister, the day's operations resulted in the destruction of 1,550 Russian soldiers. Additionally, a large quantity of equipment was taken out, including:
- 329 vehicles
- 68 artillery systems
- 2 multiple rocket launchers
- 2 tanks
- 1 air defense system
These figures highlight the ongoing intensity of Ukrainian operations against invading forces.
'The logistics lockdown is working. Following the president's orders, we are scaling up strikes on targets ranging from 20 to 150 km away. The number of enemy targets hit at distances over 50 km from the front line has doubled. We are also seeing record results in destroying enemy vehicles and motorcycles.' — Mykhailo Fedorov
This data points to significant activity by the Ukrainian armed forces amid the protracted conflict and demonstrates the effectiveness of their frontline operations. The rising toll on enemy troops and equipment may signal shifts in Ukraine's combat tactics, which could in turn influence the war's trajectory. Given the potential for serious impacts on regional stability and security, close monitoring of the situation remains essential.
