Airstrike Targets Rubicon Base
According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine’s defense forces conducted an airstrike on the Rubicon base located in Pokrovsk, destroying key enemy assets. The operation took place in the Lazurny district and was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces. The attack inflicted heavy losses on Russian troops, including the destruction of up to two drone crew stations, a communication hub, ammunition supplies, and between 10 to 15 personnel.
Frontline Developments
A total of 55 combat engagements occurred along the front over the past day, highlighting intense activity from both sides. In the North-Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, one airstrike and 22 shelling incidents were recorded. On the South-Slobozhansky axis, enemy forces attempted to breach Ukrainian defenses seven times, while in the Lyman direction, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled two advances.
In the Sloviansk area, occupiers launched 13 attacks, and on the Kostiantynivka front, defenders thwarted seven assaults. Meanwhile, the Pokrovsk sector saw 12 enemy attempts to push Ukrainian positions. These events underscore the ongoing intensity of combat operations in eastern Ukraine, where both sides remain highly active. The elimination of the Rubicon base could impair Russian operational capabilities, potentially shifting the battlefield dynamics. Continuous assaults and counterattacks indicate that the situation remains volatile, warranting close international monitoring.
