Ukrainian Forces Strike Pokrovsk, Eliminating Enemy Drone Instructors.
Airstrike Hits Pokrovsk
According to UATV: On July 5, the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of Ukraine's Air Assault Forces conducted an airstrike on a district of Pokrovsk. At the time of the attack, instructors from the enemy's 'Rubicon' group were training drone crews in the area. The operation inflicted casualties on the adversary.
According to reports, the enemy lost between 10 and 15 personnel. Additionally, the following assets were destroyed:
- up to two drone crew operation stations;
- a communications hub;
- ammunition supplies.
During the operation, technical equipment was uncovered, including the use of Wi-Fi bridges, routers, antennas, and Starlink terminals for drone control.
Enemy Activity
Intelligence indicated a concentration of enemy personnel in the southern part of the city. This buildup likely prompted the airstrike as part of round-the-clock efforts to neutralize threats from hostile forces.
This airstrike marks a significant step in Ukraine's fight against enemy drones, which pose risks to both military and civilian targets. By eliminating instructors who train drone operators, the operation could substantially reduce the effectiveness of enemy UAVs on the front lines. It also underscores the rising tensions in the region and the critical need for ongoing surveillance.
