The meteorologist explained when the real summer heat will hit Ukraine.

Ukrainians are eagerly waiting for the summer of 2025 after the previous heatwave. Wira Balabuch, a PhD student in geography and climatologist, spoke about the expected weather in the new season.

The expert noted that an accurate weather forecast for the entire season is impossible, but one can predict the trend - whether the season will be warm or cool, moist or dry.

Balabuch emphasized that predicting temperatures for the season is a complicated task and requires significant resources due to the major global influences. According to global forecasting centers, summer 2025 is expected to be warm with above-average temperatures and dry weather.

“However, it is still too early to predict temperature records. Accurate forecasts can only be made a few days in advance,” Balabuch explained.

Thus, it is forecasted that summer 2025 in Ukraine will be warm and dry, but accurate predictions for the entire season are not possible due to complicated global processes.
