According to Espreso.tv: Ukraine’s top military commander, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has revealed that Russia has concentrated 721,300 soldiers against Ukraine and intends to increase its supply of FPV drones to 33,000 by year’s end. According to Syrskyi, the Russian command has not abandoned its goal of seizing Ukrainian territory and is employing a strategy of 'a thousand cuts.'

As of 4:00 p.m. on June 26, 63 combat engagements were recorded across various front-line sectors. In the northern Sлобожанщина and Kursk directions, there were 8 clashes, while the enemy carried out 33 shelling attacks, including 3 from multiple rocket launchers. In the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenyok, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Volfyne, and Budky were hit. Russian forces also launched missile strikes on the cities of Myrnohrad and Kremenchuk.

Frontline Situation

In the Kupiansk sector, 3 attacks were recorded; in the Lyman sector, there were 7 attempts to advance. In the Sloviansk direction, 8 attempts to push forward occurred near Kalenyky and Zakitne, while in the Kramatorsk sector, 1 advance attempt was noted toward Mykolaivka. In the Kostiantynivka direction, there were 8 attacks, 6 of which were repelled; in the Pokrovsk sector, 14 attacks took place, with 13 also thwarted. In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy launched 14 assaults near Rybne and Vozdvyzhivka, while in the Orikhiv sector, 1 storming attempt occurred near Luhivske.

As of June, occupiers are using 6,000–7,000 FPV drones daily. Oleksandr Syrskyi noted that Russia plans to significantly ramp up the number of these drones to 33,000 by the end of the year. For context, on June 25, Ukrainian troops raised a flag on the Kinburn Spit, underscoring ongoing Ukrainian efforts against the aggressor.

The situation at the front remains tense, with continuous combat clashes and shelling of Ukrainian territories. Russia’s concentration of substantial forces and plans to expand its drone fleet indicate intentions to sustain active hostilities.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces are demonstrating resilience and a readiness to defend, as evidenced by recent successes in certain front-line areas.
