Child Injured as Russian Forces Bombard Zaporizhzhia
According to Novyny.live: Russian troops launched an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia during the night of June 27, leaving six people injured—including a 13-year-old girl. The assault involved three guided aerial bombs and caused extensive damage to buildings across the city.
A multi-story residential building and other structures were hit in the bombardment. Over the course of the day, Russian forces carried out 924 strikes on 42 communities within the Zaporizhzhia region. Authorities received 267 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
“Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with three guided aerial bombs,” said Ivan Fedorov.
This attack is part of the broader, ongoing hostilities in the region, raising serious safety concerns among local residents. The targeting of residential buildings directly endangers civilians caught in the conflict zone.
The shelling of Zaporizhzhia comes amid escalating military operations in eastern Ukraine, highlighting the war’s relentless toll on civilian life. The rising number of strikes on populated areas—especially those involving children—underscores the urgent need for international attention and protective measures for non-combatants in the region.
