Ukraine is constantly expanding its fleet of electric vehicles with increased range. According to the Institute of Automotive Market Research, over 40% of electric cars in Ukraine have batteries with a capacity of more than 50 kWh, making them ideal for interregional trips.
Experts say that the cost of trips for electric cars at special charging stations averages 360 hryvnias for 100 kilometers of travel.
It is worth noting that when comparing charging prices, it becomes clear that an electric car charged at home at a domestic tariff is the most advantageous - it will cost about 90 hryvnias for 100 kilometers of travel, which is cheaper than fuel.
The average cost of kilowatt-hour at alternating current charging stations is 14.82 hryvnias, while at direct current stations it is 17.65 hryvnias.
With the growing popularity of electric transport in Ukraine, it is important to choose the stations with optimal charging prices correctly. Electric vehicles are becoming more common due to the affordable charging tariffs provided.
