Gel polish damages nails: how often to do a manicure to avoid problems.
Gel polish is no longer just a trend but a daily reality for many women that simplifies their lives and adds aesthetic mood. However, even the best coating has its limitations, as manicure master Veronika Koval told us.
Can gel polish damage nails?
According to experts, the growth rate of a nail is approximately 2-3 millimeters per month, while gel polish remains unchanged. After some time, our nails begin to 'pop out' from under the coating, which not only spoils the appearance but also puts additional strain on the nail plate. This is when cracks and peeling can start to occur.
'The longer we wear gel polish, the more we risk that the nail simply breaks,' - emphasized Veronika Koval.
Over time, the shape and structure of the nail can change, increasing the likelihood of damage. Additionally, peeling can lead to inflammation or fungal diseases.
To avoid these unpleasant situations, it is important to visit the master in a timely manner to prevent the coating from losing its stability, ensuring that your nails always remain healthy and strong.
So remember the importance of nail care, as beauty starts with the neat appearance of every detail.
