The Ministry of Defense has introduced 8 new combat robots: what tasks they will perform.
In July 2025, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine presented the eighth new ground robotic complexes for use in the Defense Forces. These new complexes are produced in Ukraine and can perform various tasks, including logistics and the evacuation of the wounded.
”Among the innovations are universal multifunctional platforms on tracked or wheeled chassis with modern communication and video transmission systems. They operate in all weather conditions and can cover great distances.”
In total, 40 Ukrainian ground robotic complexes were created and put into operation throughout 2025. Last year there were 60, and the year before that — 13.
Recently, Ukrainian military personnel shared their experiences using robotic complexes for the evacuation of the wounded and also demonstrated how the robot 'Lut' destroys enemies with a machine gun.
The Ukrainian army continues to modernize and enhance its armament by implementing new technologies and robotic systems to increase the effectiveness of combat operations.
