Škoda has released the most powerful Fabia in history: what is known about the anniversary version.
According to Korrespondent.net: Škoda is celebrating its 130th anniversary by launching a special version of the Fabia 130, which has become the most powerful modification of the subcompact hatchback in the brand's history. This novelty features an upgraded 1.5-liter TSI evo2 turbo engine with a power output of 177 hp, sporty suspension settings, and a unique design.
Features of the Anniversary Model
The Fabia 130 is based on the Monte Carlo version but has several unique details. Externally, the car stands out with darkened headlights, a black stripe between the rear lights, dual exhausts, and 18-inch alloy wheels, revealing red brake calipers. The exterior also includes a black grille, mirror housings, roof, and badges, as well as special 'Fabia 130' logos on the fenders and rear.

Interior and Technologies
The interior of the model is designed with black aluminum accents featuring the special edition logo, silver decorative elements on the dashboard and doors, and sporty seats with integrated headrests. Standard equipment includes a 10-inch digital instrument panel, and a 9-inch multimedia display is available as an option. The model also retains a three-spoke steering wheel with a flat bottom and metal pedals.
Technical Specifications
The technical parameters of the new model have undergone significant changes. The engine power has increased from 150 to 177 hp, while the torque remains at 250 Nm. Thanks to upgraded components such as rocker arms, intake manifold, and engine mounts, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, which is 0.6 seconds faster than the Fabia Monte Carlo. The top speed reaches 228 km/h, making this version the fastest in Fabia's history.
The suspension is lowered by 15 mm, and changes have also been made to the DSG transmission, steering, brakes, and stabilization system.
Production of the Fabia 130 will be limited, but the exact number of cars has not yet been disclosed. Sales will start in December, with prices in the UK starting from £30,000.
