Sky News: Zelensky is not yet ready to sign a controversial mineral agreement with the USA.

Zelensky is not ready to sign the agreement with the USA due to problems in the document
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, is not yet ready to sign an agreement with the USA on mineral resources due to a number of issues in the draft document. According to Sky News, the current version of the agreement does not reflect partnership relations and contains only unilateral obligations from Ukraine, an Ukrainian source reported.
The source noted that 'the agreement is not yet ready for signing, there are a number of problematic issues, and in its current form the project is unacceptable for the president'. Despite this, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz stated that the agreement will be signed soon.
According to available information, American negotiators even considered limiting Ukraine's access to the Starlink satellite system in case of refusal from the agreement. The situation is complicated by critical statements from Donald Trump regarding President Zelensky.
On Fox Radio, Trump stated that he is 'tired of watching' how the Ukrainian leader is conducting negotiations 'without trump cards'. Meanwhile, US envoy Keith Kellogg, who recently visited Kyiv, expressed support for Zelensky, calling him a 'brave leader of a warring nation'. However, the Ukrainian source expressed doubts about Kellogg's real influence on the negotiation process.
