Strikes Hit Sloviansk
According to UATV: A 7-year-old boy and his mother were injured during shelling in Sloviansk, marking another escalation in the ongoing hostilities across Donetsk Oblast. Over the past 24 hours, Russian attacks have killed two people and wounded four others, with six separate shelling incidents recorded in the region.
Drones Used in Assaults
The attacks involved FPV drones as well as 'Molniya' and 'Geran' strike UAVs. Infrastructure took a heavy hit, with damage reported to a gas station, five private homes, and a Nova Poshta branch. Fortunately, no employees of the postal service were harmed. Emergency crews and police are currently on site, working to clear debris and assess the damage.
The deteriorating security situation in Donetsk Oblast continues to alarm both local residents and the international community. Civilian casualties, especially involving children, highlight the severe humanitarian toll of the conflict and underscore the urgent need for protective measures. While rescue and police operations aim to restore safety and repair damaged infrastructure, the area remains volatile and dangerous.
