Mobilization in Ukraine: Statements of the Minister of Defense
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal confirmed in an interview with Sky News that mobilization in Ukraine is ongoing. He noted that its level is stable and even increasing, allowing to replenish personnel and form reserves.
'The level of mobilization in Ukraine over the last 12 months has been absolutely stable and tends to grow, and we have mobilized all the necessary number of personnel to cover all our losses and form small reserves,' the minister stated.
Shmyhal also pointed out that mobilization in Russia, while helping to cover their losses, still exceeds Ukrainian indicators by two times.
'They cover all these losses, so they have no problems, but they have lost 1 million people since the beginning of this war. Half of them are dead. So they continue to shoot, killing their people in the fires of war, without stopping to think about the number of casualties. This represents a serious challenge and problem,' the minister emphasized.
Therefore, the Ukrainian Minister of Defense highlighted the stability and growth of mobilization in the country, while also pointing out the differences in mobilization approaches between Ukraine and Russia. According to him, Ukrainian losses are significantly smaller, indicating more effective measures to preserve personnel.
