Kushner revealed details of Zelensky and Trump's negotiations on security guarantees for Ukraine.
According to ТСН: The meeting in Paris was an important step, but Ukraine needs real security guarantees to achieve sustainable peace.
Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of former US president Donald Trump, expressed this opinion. In an interview with journalists, he noted that during the meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump in Florida, details of security guarantees for Ukraine were discussed.
"I believe they really addressed most, if not all, of the issues that remained difficult,"
added Kushner, emphasizing the importance of the current negotiations.
"I will say that today has become a very, very significant milestone,"
he noted. However, Kushner warned that this does not mean an automatic achievement of peace in Ukraine. According to him, a final agreement is only possible under the condition of reliable protection for Ukraine after it is concluded.
"If Ukraine is to conclude a final agreement, it must know that it will be protected afterward, have strong deterrents and real safeguards that will ensure this does not happen again,"
he emphasized.
Ukraine, France, and Britain signed a declaration that paves the way for creating a legal framework for the deployment of Western troops on Ukrainian soil.
President Volodymyr Zelensky, together with the leaders of France and Britain in Paris, announced plans to deploy multinational forces in Ukraine after the war is over.
This meeting signals an intensification of international support for Ukraine in the context of the struggle for peace and stability. The guarantees presented will significantly impact the further development of events and could become a crucial element in resolving the conflict.
