Instagram launched a new live broadcast feature for close friends
The social network Instagram, owned by Meta, has introduced a new feature for conducting live broadcasts exclusively for the "close friends" list. According to The Verge, this feature is available to users worldwide.
As noted, the new feature offers Instagram users the ability to conduct live broadcasts available only to their group of close friends. In addition, up to three other users can join the broadcast and co-host the live session organized by its owner.
Until now, if a user's account was public, notifications about the start of live broadcasts and the option to join them were received by all social network users. Private broadcasts, in turn, could only be viewed by the account owner's subscribers.
Also, in 2022, Instagram introduced the "Private Story Likes" feature. Now users can like other people's stories without needing to send them a personal message, thus avoiding the overload of subscriptions with unnecessary chats.
On a side note, Elon Musk has shown the accessible version of Starlink for the first Time.
