For the sponge cake you will need:
- eggs (large) — 3 pcs.;
- salt — a pinch;
- vegetable oil — 2 tbsp.;
- baking powder — 0.5 tsp.;
- cocoa — 30 g;
- sugar — 120 g;
- wheat flour — 90 g.
For soaking:
- milk — 6–10 tbsp.
Custard with condensed milk:
- milk — 250 ml.;
- egg — 1 pc.;
- cornstarch — 30 g;
- vanilla sugar — 20 g;
- condensed milk — 160 g;
- butter — 170–180 g.
Chocolate glaze:
- chocolate — 80–100 g;
- vegetable oil — 1 tbsp.
Cooking Method
For the sponge cake, beat the eggs with sugar and salt, add the oil. Then add the mixture of flour, baking powder, and cocoa in three stages, gently mixing. Bake the dough at 180°C for about 30 minutes, cut into two layers.
For the cream, mix the egg with cornstarch, milk, and cook until thickened. Then add sugar, cool and beat together with butter. Spread the cream on the layers, pour with chocolate glaze and leave in the refrigerator for a few hours.
