In June 2025, a night shooter from one of the military units fled from combat duty without the commander's permission and drove to the city in a service vehicle to address personal matters.
Later, the military was detained by the police while in an intoxicated state. A protocol was drawn up against the soldier for violating the rules of carrying combat duty.
Court decision
The man did not attend the court hearing but submitted a statement recognizing his guilt and requested for the case to be heard in his absence.
The military was found guilty of committing an administrative offense and was fined 17 thousand hryvnias.
As a reminder, in Kharkiv region a man justified Russian aggression against Ukraine, for which he received a prison sentence.
And in Poltava, a patrol police officer took a bribe from a man who was wanted for evasion from mobilization.
In Lviv region, a soldier who left his place of service during combat duty, took a service vehicle and drove to the city for personal matters was tried. He was found guilty of committing an administrative offense and fined 17 thousand hryvnias.
