Sony has introduced the Xperia 10 VII: main updates and price of the novelty.

According to Korrespondent.net: Sony has unveiled a new version of the mid-range smartphone Xperia 10 VII.

Specifications of the novelty

The main change is the new camera module, which now has a horizontal 'capsule' shape, similar to the Pixel style. The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP Sony Exmor RS sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera has a resolution of 8 MP.

Display and performance

The novelty features a 6.1-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection. The internal components include a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, 8 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of built-in memory, which can be expanded up to 2 TB with a microSD card.

Battery and software

The Xperia 10 VII is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and runs on Android 15. The smartphone will receive four years of OS updates and six years of security patches. New features such as Google Gemini and Circle to Search are also available.

The smartphone has stereo speakers on the front panel, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a dedicated camera shutter button, and protection against water and dust according to IP65/68 standards. The thickness of the device is 8.3 mm, and the weight is 168 g.

The Sony Xperia 10 VII will be available in White, Turquoise, and Charcoal Black colors at a price of €449. Pre-orders are already open, and the start of shipments is scheduled for September 19.
