In the video, one of the colleagues is seen throwing items, while the employee throws them onto the runway with great force.
This sparked outrage on social media, where shocked viewers noted that passenger luggage was being handled without proper standards.
“This video should go to his company so they can see how good he works.”
“Is this what we pay for checked baggage?”
“This only happens in Spain. I have never seen luggage handled so poorly elsewhere, it’s unbelievable. Almost every time we come back from a trip, the suitcases arrive damaged.”
“This is just awful. I’m sure there are plenty of unemployed people who would be happy to do this job right.”
However, some users noted that these were probably not suitcases but blankets and soft coverings being removed for cleaning.
“For those who have never flown or even seen a plane and criticize without knowledge: they are just picking up blankets for cleaning the cabin, this is not luggage.”
At the same time, others emphasized: “Honestly, I think he is doing everything right – he is very efficient at his job.”
Additional incidents at airports
Madrid-Barajas Airport and Qatar Airways were invited to comment on the situation.
This incident occurred after a pilot was forced to keep an overloaded plane in the air, circling the airport because the only air traffic controller had fallen asleep at his post.
An Air Corsica flight from Paris Orly to Ajaccio found itself over the Mediterranean Sea as ground staff did not respond.
The French civil aviation authority confirmed that the aircraft spent 18 minutes circling before receiving clearance to land.
The dispatcher, who was waiting for the delayed flight, allegedly fell asleep while working the tower alone.
As there were no backup staff, no one was able to wake him up or turn on the lighting on the 2400 meter runway.
While the plane was circling, the fire department attempted to contact the tower.
When that failed, police and airport staff finally made their way upstairs and woke the dispatcher, allowing the plane to land safely.
Meanwhile, a Ryanair passenger was left in tears on her knees after being denied boarding.
The woman made her way to the doors in tears when airport staff informed her that her carry-on luggage was too large.
Chaos erupted at Sofia Airport in Bulgaria as the woman began screaming, sobbing, and expressing her dissatisfaction with Ryanair's strict baggage policy.

Situations related to baggage handling often provoke outrage among travelers, as it directly affects their comfort and travel experience. In this context, it is important for airlines and airports to carefully address safety and service quality issues, as well as to communicate with passengers about potential incidents.
Other incidents at airports, such as the recent one involving the pilot, underscore the need to increase attention to the workload on employees, especially in conditions of high demand and stress.
