In the evening of September 11 in the Murmansk region of the Russian Federation, a light aircraft was fired at by Russians who mistook it for a drone. This was reported by the Telegram channel Baza.

According to the information, two light-sport aircraft - ATEC 321 Faeta NG and BRM Aero Bristell NG5 took off from the Apatite Municipal District to Arkhangelsk around 16:30 on September 11. Half an hour later, restrictions on the use of airspace were lifted.

According to Baza, one of the pilots noticed the second aircraft behaving strangely and reported it. Later it turned out that the second aircraft had been fired upon.

According to the channel “Aviators”, the pilots of both planes requested a change in flight plan after the attack: the first aircraft landed at the Apatity airfield, and the second returned to the departure point. Their flight duration was about 20 minutes.

After landing, the pilot reported that the bullets had pierced the wing and the plane's headlights.
