The USA has imposed new sanctions against Iran's shadow fleet
The United States has decided to implement new measures against the network of companies and ships that make up Iran's so-called 'shadow fleet'. In particular, sanctions were imposed against Chinese operators of terminals and oil storage facilities that facilitated the illegal export of Iranian oil. It has also been revealed that vessels from this network were used for transporting Russian oil, reports FREEДOM.
'This is yet another example of how our partners are acting specifically and systematically against those who finance terrorism and destabilize international security. Just like in the case of Russia, any attempts to circumvent sanctions will lead to failure. For Ukraine, this is an important signal - the world does not tolerate states that violate international law. We are grateful to the USA for their clear and principled position,' emphasized the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
We remind that Belarus and Iran expressed their intention to deepen relations in all areas, including defense. This statement was made by the leaders of both countries during negotiations in Minsk.
