Strike on Iskander Missile Systems

According to UATV: On the night of March 14, units from the Deep Strike division of the Special Operations Forces (SSO) targeted Iskander missile launchers in Crimea. One launcher was destroyed near the village of Vyshneve. The operation was made possible by intelligence data that pinpointed a storage site for Iskander launchers in the settlement of Kurortne.

The Special Operations Forces confirmed that

“the SSO successfully struck the target, and a secondary detonation of the ammunition was recorded.”
This underscores the operation’s effectiveness. They also emphasized that
“the SSO successfully hit the location where the vehicles were stationed,”
highlighting the precision and professionalism of the units involved.

Ongoing Ukrainian Military Actions

These strikes reflect the active operations of Ukrainian forces in the region and their readiness to carry out missions aimed at destroying enemy military assets. This operation is part of a broader strategy to reduce the threat posed by missile systems that could be used against Ukraine.

The mission not only demonstrates the growing effectiveness of Ukraine’s special operations forces but also their ability to execute complex military tasks in an active conflict zone. The destruction of Iskander launchers could significantly weaken the enemy’s combat capabilities, thereby strengthening Ukraine’s defense posture. Such actions also serve as a strong signal to the international community about the seriousness of Russian threats and the need for continued support for Ukraine amid the ongoing war.
