Over 60 Targets Hit in One Night: Ukrainian Special Forces Destroy Key Railway Bridge in Crimea.
Strike on the Railway Bridge Crossing the North Crimea Canal
According to UATV: On June 23, Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) launched an attack on a railway bridge spanning the North Crimea Canal. According to the SOF command, the bridge—located near the village of Rozdolne—was completely destroyed. This operation was part of a much larger campaign, during which more than 60 targets across temporarily occupied territories were struck in a single night.
Assets Hit in the Operation
The list of damaged or destroyed assets includes:
- air defense systems
- radar stations
- an oil depot in Kerch
- a gas distribution station
- an electrical substation
- military logistics facilities
Notably, three Russian Orion reconnaissance-strike drones were also eliminated. According to Robert "Magyar" Brovda,
“more than 60 targets were hit overnight,”underscoring the scale of the operation.
These strikes come as Russia’s oil output has dropped to 9 million barrels per day in May. The destruction of the railway bridge deals a serious blow to infrastructure in the occupied territories and is expected to significantly hinder the enemy’s logistics capabilities.
The attack on the railway bridge over the North Crimea Canal, along with the other targeted strikes, highlights Ukraine’s intensifying military efforts to disrupt enemy supply lines. Such operations could affect resource deliveries and the combat readiness of Russian forces in the occupied areas. They also reflect Ukraine’s broader strategy to degrade the adversary’s military potential amid the ongoing conflict.
