It became known how many Ukrainians received deferment from mobilization.

According to the Deputy Minister of Defense, about 930,000 Ukrainian conscripts have deferment from mobilization, and this number is expected to rise to 1 million people shortly. According to him, it is important to ensure a balance between those citizens who fight and those who work for defense. Several enterprises in Ukraine are working in three shifts, indicating the necessity to enhance economic activity. Foreign support is not increasing, so it is important to use internal resources to ensure defense capability.
The Ukrainian government is taking steps to optimize the reservation process. Amendments have also been made to the decree, allowing defense industry and energy enterprises to reserve 100% of their employees. Moreover, reservations can be made through the “Diia” portal. Internet providers and mobile operators can also reserve their employees to ensure uninterrupted communication and connectivity. About 160,000 employees have already been reserved through the “Diia” portal.
